gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3 software package provides Fluendo mp3 decoder GStreamer 1.0 plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3
gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gstreamer1.0-fluendo-mp3 *
